Co Charger Uber Promotion April 2025 – Terms and Conditions

The Promotion

  1. These terms and conditions are applicable to the promotion run by Co Charger in April 2025 as an incentive for drivers registered with Uber to use the Co Charger ‘Community Charging’ service. The basis of the offer is that the full cost of a driver’s first charging session is refunded after booking the second session. Uber is not responsible for the operation or fulfilment of this offer.
  2. Only active, registered drivers with Uber qualify for this offer.
  3. Only one refund will be given per driver.
  4. Refunds are limited to thirty pounds (£30) per qualifying session.
  5. To qualify for the offer, a driver must:
    1. be registered as a Chargee on the Co Charger platform, with the promotion code “UBER” after the 31st of March 2025. This can be done either by entering the code when setting up an account directly in the app, or by using the ‘PHV Driver’ registration form on the Co Charger website.  If a user is a driver registered with Uber and has registered without this code, they can request registration by email to [email protected] or through the contact form on the app or on the Co Charger website.
    2. have a second booking request accepted by the host.
  6. The offer will be applied only to the first fifty (50) qualifying drivers with Uber.
  7. The offer will close at midnight on April 30th Second bookings made after this time will not result in a refund.
  8. The refund is made to the original payment card used for the first session and may take up to 30 days to arrive in the recipient’s bank account.

 

General Terms

  1. Privacy and user terms: These Promotions Terms and Conditions are supplemented by our End User License Agreement and our Privacy Policy. By participating in the offer, a Co Charger user agrees to abide by the terms of these terms.
  2. Third party rights. No one other than a party to these Terms and Conditions shall have any right to enforce any of its terms.
  3. Liability: Neither Co Charger nor Uber shall be liable for any financial loss arising out of the refusal, cancellation or withdrawal of any promotion or any failure or inability of a customer to take advantage of a promotion for any reason.
  4. Severance. If any provision or part-provision of these Terms and Conditions is or becomes invalid, illegal or unenforceable, it shall be deemed modified to the minimum extent necessary to make it valid, legal and enforceable. If such modification is not possible, the relevant provision or part-provision shall be deemed deleted. Any modification to or deletion of a provision or part-provision under this clause shall not affect the validity and enforceability of the rest of these Terms and Conditions.
  5. Variation. Co Charger reserves the right to alter the provisions of these Terms and Conditions of this promotion, providing that such alterations do not infringe the legal rights acquired by the user. Any variations shall be updated and made accessible within a reasonable timeframe. Co Charger reserves the right to remove this promotion at any time.
  6. Jurisdiction: To the extent permitted by the law, legal obligations resulting from these Terms and Conditions are regulated by the law of England and Wales.
  7. No partnership or agency. Nothing in this Term and Conditions is intended to, or shall be deemed to, establish any partnership or joint venture between Co-Charger and Uber London Limited or its affiliates (“Uber”), constitute any party the agent of Uber, or authorise any party to make or enter into commitments for or on behalf of Uber. Further, any agreements or arrangements entered into by the drivers pursuant to any Uber specific promotions will be entered between the driver and Uber.
